For some time we’ve been stocking books on underwater photography and videography published by Dived Up Publications.

Those books are:

Paul Colley’s Winning Images with Any Underwater Camera (£25). Probably the best book on the market for underwater photographers looking to learn composition and increase their competition wins.

Mark Harris’s Glass and Water : The Essential Guide to Freediving for Underwater Photography (£19.95). This book is full of tips and advice for free divers looking to start taking pictures and photographers wanting to move into free diving.

Jeff Goodman’s Action Camera Underwater Video Basics (£20). Not just for action camera users. Reading this book and taking Jeff’s advice onboard would improve the results of anyone starting out at underwater video making.

We’ve now added some diving titles with plenty of underwater images by British underwater photographers, some of whom are friends of the company.

Expedition Britannic: Diving Titanic’s Sister Ship by Rick Ayrton. (£25) This is the story of the May 2019 expedition to dive the Britannic which lies in over 100m of water. It’s a must have for wreck fans and technical divers. Rick is renowned in the UK underwater photography scene for his deep wreck images and this book showcases his work.

Diving the Thistlegorm by Simon Brown, Jon Henderson, Alex Mustard and Mike Postons (£25). This book is a superbly detailed look at one of the most iconic wrecks in the world. If you’ve dived her you’ll want this book to learn more about all those features you saw and the ones you missed. If you’re going to dive it for the first time it will add a layer of knowledge that will make your dives all the better.

Wild and Temperate Seas by Will Appleyard et al. (£17.95). Will Appleyard’s collaborators in this dive guide of the 50 favourite UK dives read like a who’s who of UK diving and underwater photography. Expect some amazing dives and images to match. If you want to convert someone to UK diving this is the book to give them.
